Kinda looks like Batman? Another Flea Market find Not bad for 10 bucks. Running and keeping good time.

Holy Mackerel, Boy Wonder! Nice find, Jim. Seen one on the site before, no I.D. unless possibly Moonbeam? As suggested by others.

1953 ad shows this as an Ambassador E.

This Ambassador E from a 1953 ad?  Sure looks like a different watch to me.

You are correct Nova, nay, Super Nova! I guess I should have magnified the ad.

....always the spoiler.

I like the Batman theory, it was mentioned before.

I think you will not call me "always a spoiler" tomorrow when I post some ads I found at the Library of Congress today, including one for your Academy Award "X".

The US Library of Congress....oh how I wish I had access to that all the way from here!!

I can't wait to see what you have found!

a new 1955 database ad shows this Case as a 'SENATOR' ("C")

Top row, Left.

* The artists rendition is not the greatest but I think this is what they were trying to convey.

The Jewel count and Movement are consistant with other 'SENATOR's of this era.
