This was advertised as a vintage ladies watch... I don't think it is. I'm thinking some sort of men's early to mid-30's? What do we have here? Pictures will be followed by original posting description.

Yeah, now that you enlarged the Breton, I'm less convinced. Still, I believe it's a mens watch, not a ladies. A lot of folks can't fathom just how small mens watches were back then. I can't count how many times I've seen Ebay listings for "Lord Elgin Ladies Watch"!
Hard to tell from the picts, but it does look like a ladies watch, the bracelet clasp looks a lot larger than the actual case, and it looks more like scallops than engraving. It has to be very narrow if they had to allow space for "Bulova" in between the 2 & 10 markers.
