One of the coveted solid silver Bulova's of the mid 1920's.  Stamped Bulova Watch Co. Swiss and 0.925

Really cool metal butler type dial on this guy.

Not right off the bat... I'll have to go through the one off 20's ads.  This is skinnier than the ones I see in the full page ads.

Closest I can find is the "Oxford"... with a dial variant.  Both come in stirling and 17 jewels.

Despite the dial variation everything else is a close match to the advert. Hour hand is a match which is unique. Here's a bigger view of the 1924 advert.

1925 Bulova Oxford works for me. We have yet to find any (I think) mens watches with the exploding dial from this time period.

Another from 1924. The Bulova 29743, which probably became the Oxford in 1925.

October 1924. The Corsacana Daily Sun, Texas Note the model 39744.
