Hey Jerin,
Yah... this is a unique LOOK, for sure... And any solid karat gold models today, will need to be SAVED from the SMELTER! I suspect not many were even MADE... let alone SURVIVE, today!? (After the gold runs in 1979/80 and the last two years...)
HMMM... Looks to be 8- 10 grams at 41.7% of 24 karat... so around $225.- $250.00 of yellow gold, at today's valuation... Oddly, most collectors don't even invest in karat gold watches, but they'll pay almost as much for mass produced (plated) models? And gold is already up 250% lately... and will likely do $5k.- $10.K. an ounce before 2020??? (I'm buying scrap gold and mining claims next, myself! Then burying silver coinage and bars...)
WISH I lived in OZ... and had a Mine Lab (gold) metal detector!!!)
BEST :-) Scott
