I have changed the date to 1942 based on the serial number. Rose gold watches were made during the 40's, the Athena was advertised during the 40's and the most of the solid gold ladies watches in the 40's did not have a letter but instead go by the first number for the year like the men's watches. It would be very helpful if you could provide a photo of the movement if you have it opened.
