Hi all, yes my error it is a 8 AD, the storey behind it is it failed shortley after purchase and was put in a draw and only surfaced a couple of years ago, it is in mint condition not a mark on it, all the jewels were gummed solid and after cleaning it. It ran but very fast, like a horse at the grand national, i took it to my watch maker who found the hair spring had a bend in it and couldnt be straightened. so currently looking for an 8AD or 8AH movement or balance complete. all the 8AD/AH movements i have come across either have broken stafs or bad springs, possibilly a common fault with this model movement? oh! she is now sporting a nice tan lama skin strap.
