Watch Description

I was pleased to pick this one up this week.  I believe this is Her Excellency "U".  Possible hand replacement but otherwise in really nice condition.  It is 14K white gold with 2 diamonds, 1 on each end.  The 21 jewel 6BA movement is working nicely.  I replaced the band with a NOS cord band like it would have had originally.

Yes Her Excellency "U" will be, but I would have dated them to 1949 due to the case number

Thank you jabs.  I think it is interesting that they dated the cases starting with a letter in the 40s but not on the 14k cases.  I agree on the date, thanks.

Her Excellency "U" she is.

Lovely watch; wondering if the hands should be the darker color instead of yellow. I've seen white gold cases with yellow hands, but usually with the matching gilt markers on the dial.

Her Exc 'U', perhaps 1949

Thank you Ken.  Yes I think the hands should probably be the blue ones on this one.

That's a cool watch Kathy, very classy. I like the font on the dial.
