Watch Description

1954 Phantom I believe.  Case measures 40.5mm lug to lug x 33mm not including  the Crown. Using digital Calipers. White Dial shows luminous accented applied markers, Bulova signature and tracks are printed in Black. Dial re-finished by IDC.  Hour and Minute Hands are Silver Dauphine style with luminous accents, Sweep Center Seconds Hand is Black (Blue steel). Stainless Steel Bezel is a press fit to the Case back which is stamped as shown.  Bottom right watch in the add. Last picture is before being cleaned up. http://www.mybulova.com/sites/default/files/vintage_ads/54-bulova-ad-1954-7.jpg

Here's a snippet from the 1954  Wafer-Thin "Phantom" ad above (beside stainless steel watch).

The details in the ad match case back.  You can still see the vertical lines beneath the white redial, done as original.  Last photo shows before redial.

WOW, how did you get that dial cleaned up? Self clean or professional re-dial?

Wow is right....I just assumed it was a redial done as exact.  If that's a cleaning job, you need to go into business!!

Sorry guys I did have this dial re-finished. I have had allot of great results with different chemicals, tiny detail brushes and allot of time but white is almost impossible at this stage. Like most here I find you have to be prepared to ruin your dial by cleaning. Knowing you are going to have the dial re-finished gives you a great opportunity to experiment with different cleaning idea's on the dial. You can't beat experience. I will note the re-dial in the description.
