1957 Bulova Wrist Alarm 'C'
All stainless steel case, dated L7 on the inside, Swiss made; original dial in nice condition; Swiss 11AERC movement, dated L7, 17 jewels, a challenging movement to service, plus it took me half a year to find and replace two broken parts; original display box; aftermarket band.
Same as this example from 1957
0 gaskets in this watch; the ones from the 60s had gaskets in the case and crowns, but not sure what year that started.

Thanks; I find that many of the non-early movements tend to clean up better than the earlier ones. Those early movements often have plating wear that no amount of cleaning will restore. That said, I don't polish or restore and not sure if that is possible without removing the plating; and I give these a good pre-soak/clean and then an ultrasonic cleaning in L&R solutions and the results are usually nice.
