We had the same model presented last fall but could not find a proper name for it. I suggest we bring this watch into the dB as 1964 Bulova Accutron. It's a nice example.

Thanks for the info, am taking to get a new battery fitted today so whilst there will get the back taken off so i can get some photos and numbers of the movement to add. Do you add this to the database or is it something I need to do?

No need for you to do anything. The myBulova.com panel will now complete our review and once satisfied we'll ID accordingly for the database.

Panel thoughts on a 1964 Bulova Accutron "221" ? Possibly a yellow gold version with SS back and different model number.

Can you please advise which part of the front is gold coloured? is it just the front bezel? Is there any gold Kt markings on the back to indicate the gold level?

There are no gold stamps or markings, but the whole case apart from the back panel is gold coloured, hope the photos might show better

Thanks, those photos do confirm your watch is indeed yellow gold plate, so not the "221" as that is listed as "White".

Beautiful watch. I too am unable  to come up with a match and default to

1964 Bulova Accutron for the time being.

Based on the case s/n starting with ( 1 - ), there is a good possibility your watch was produced outside the US for the international market. That may make it difficult to put a name or model # to.

Nice find and buy.  It is a beauty.  I agree with a generic Accutron for now.

just back from battery fitting and unfortunately is dead !! any thoughts on poss problems or where could get serviced / looked at ? am in exeter.  have uploaded pics of movement and inside case if these be of help at all, thanks for all the lovely comments but unfortunately looks like a spares or repair job on the dreaded ebay!
