My grandfather bought this watch for my grandmother on December 4, 1974. According to the date codes and receipt that was stored with the watch, it should be a 14K Gold Ladies Christian Dior. The outside of the case is stamped with a J with an arrow going through it; 14K; Bulova; N1; 42464; and another symbol that looks like a T with a tail attached to it. The clasp has the same J and arrow; 14K; and Italy. I'm too afraid to open the case because the slot for a tool is about the width of a fingernail. But I did find an advertisement in the archive that stated it was a 23 Jewel Christian Dior AG.
