Watch Description

Here is another unusual one I have never seen before. Case dated N3 and Movement is N4. Standing block markers and a raised stripe across face with "Automatic" on it. Only a hint of wear on lug high points. Bezel has an interesting engraved pattern I haven't seen before. Inside of case back is ink stamped "3335".I added the period band; watch came to me on a stainless expansion that was obviously an ill fitted replacement.

Anyone have a guess as to what model family this comes from?

I'm convinced I've seen it before, I just can't find anything on it.

I had no luck finding an ad match. Looks like an Unknown model at this time.

Could be from the Oceanographer line.

I have seen it before, but I still don't know what it is.....

I don't think it's the Oceanographer in the ad, the texture on the top is different.

Could be one of the many variants of a Oceanographer. Other than the texture, it's very close, and with that thick case seal rubber, it could only be from one of the more 'water resistant' families.

I'm with you Stephen. Ad you reference shows Oceanographer B and F. Database has Oceanographers with variant letters going al the way from "A" to "V" and there are a lot of gaps in the progression of letters. Based on case shape, face markers like the "F", and heavy duty gasket; I'm leaning towards generic Oceanographer. Without an ad or any watch in the DB that is comparable, it's a tough call.

I remain Unknown on this one. Without an advert, I resist and ID based speculation of what it might be.
