I am sad to report that the Baker family will soon be saying goodbye a beloved member. The Bruno family on the other hand will, I'm certain, be delighted to welcome one late Monday afternoon when I deliver this beauty, in all it's glory, to my good friend Bob! I am anticipating that the event will be properly celebrated with adult beverages and perhaps a bite or two of beef.

I am also certain that his photos will be superior to these.

At least it's staying in the family.  Just a new home.  Have fun delivering this beauty to its new home.

Geoff, which one is flying the coop, Huey, Louey or Dewey?

Why is it the little price tag is always missing on the plastic box above the Accutron logo? Answer: The Jewelers pulled them out quick to get more money.

Using wood anywhere on a watch is for practical reasons the dumbest idea in the history of watches. I know we are supposed to be positive about Vintage Bulova here but paper thin walnut veneer glued into the bezel warps and also leaks. Pretty watch new these are wonderful to look at but daily wearers? I think not. Novel idea just not practical at all.

Think of what happens to your 1940 Ford Woody after years of surfing on the beach. Now think of a watch with wood trim... its crazy actually but cool looking.

I think we love Bulova for their innovations in design never seen before. They have always been the personification of a radical watchmaker and still are today!

John, please do some research before commenting on a watch you clearly have never touched, your comments are completely off base. There is no real wood and it is not walnut. The faux  wood is rosewood and has no impact on the use or wear of these watches. I have owned three of these watches and wore them hundreds of times. This is one of the most iconic Accutron models and continues to be one of the most sought after versions.
