I fear this is one of 'those' watches, I think these are knock-off or imitation watches. There are still dozens and dozens being sold on ebay.....

What is stamped number on the back inside case and also the black stamp? One of these should correspond with an official Bulova case part number. Alas that to is maybe fake. I'm on the fence with this only because I haven't seen or touch one so really can't make an educated comment. Only that when we do see them they are always very crisp and clean. NOS quality which in itself is very suspicious.

Are there column headings for each column?
Or are these parts listed in alpha-numeric order reading down each column?
Also, are these case reference numbers for watches distributed overseas spicific to Bulova?
Great info, as it is one more tool to help "guess" if there are minor case differences which corrispond to different Bulova model names.
Do you know if this catalog is available on site as PDF under the "Information" tab?

The above scan is of the entire page...no headings, just case numbers listed in numeric order.
I do not think this catalog is on site.
There seem to be an awful lot of Bulova Cases that were distributed overseas...using case numbers that are a bit different from ones used in standard Bulova cases.
The catalog also footnotes certain Bulova Watches that were "not sold in U.S.A."

Jeff - this is very interesting. I've always suspected there were 'over seas only' Bulovas, maybe even different models to the Pacific Rim than Europe. My next question will be "When did THAT begin?" Relative to this particular watch, I have one (there seems to be an almost endless supply from the environs around Hong Kong) and really do think it's a knock off. I think there was an original at some point but I suspect most of these NOS watches are not authentic Bulovas.
