Original dial and crystal, rose gold case markwed 14k gold filled(includind back) not sure if crown is original as it is not marked.Roman numerals scratched inside bezel iii/iv/iv match last three digits of serial#.President maybe?
I would say that this is a 1947 based on the serial number beginning with 7 and what appears to be a square stamped on the movement for 1946 (could you confirm the movement stamp). I think this style became the His Excellency by 1947. We have a 1947 ad showing a similar watch as the HE, but it does not state which style of gold. May have been the Director a year prior.
Hi Denupnorth. This could be the model you have.
The one in the ad is the yellow gold version and looks to have gold applied numerals, but I have seen other Bulova models have the numerals painted on the dial in the pink gold versions. We'll see what the panel members think.

Welcome Denis to myBulova. Seems like you been around for a while, congratulations on your first dive into the watch dB, hopefully there are more to come. I think the advert that merc posted shows your watch. It seems everything was renamed to the His Excellency name in 1947. I did change the date on the record per Ken's suggestion to 1947.
1947 His Excellency DD, a great choice to start a Bulova collection.
