1956 Bulova Case back:10K ROLLED GOLG PLATE,BULOVA,L6 and serial # Inside case back:BULOVA,FI FTH AVE,NEW YORK 8AC movement is dated L6 Dial has applied gold 12 and squares and darts for the other #'s,sub seconds is just a crosshair. Unsigned crown. I didn't find an example of this one in the database or in the ads but Lisa has one ine her database marked as unknown.Pretty distinctive case with those camel humps on each side.
I've seen the case from front side before, but never the back, so I thought it may be another makers case w/ a marriage. Looks all Bulova to me. Haven't seen any ads for it though, so I'm at Unknown, but there could be something new in the 1950's decades forum newspaper ads.

Looks like Bulova tried to incorporate every conceivable design element into this one. Even the case back has style! THREE different dial marker types and then there are the humps......
I've looked everywhere, I find four or five of his brothers in the Unknown dB. Here's one Gary posted a year back. Ken found an advert match but it's unnamed.
