I rather like this watch but have no idea what it is, though I'd upload one where the case and movement dates match for a change, hopefully it'll be nice and easy for you guys

Nice pickup on the advert and identification.
What a cool looking watch and looks to be in pretty good shape.
A 1953 Bulova Marlboro for me too. I wonder if this model was named after the cigarettes?

Nice advert pick up Ken, Marlboro it is. Interesting that in the space of two years Bulova had two completely different cases named Marlboro
Perhaps the watch was named for John Spencer-Churchill, who was the 11th Duke of Marlborough at the time?

Looks Great,
We don't get to see very many for sale in as fine condition as this one. My 1st line of thought was along the Ambassador series....ooops on me. Nice pickup on the ad andersok.

thanks for the ID guys and all the complements, it needed a service to get it running properly but it looked this good when I bought it from one of you, i just got it back this week and nearly sold it today but the buyer never came back, been tied up getting ready for a vintage fair but should be uploading another 20 or 30 in the next few weeks, do you want the ones I can identify first or the unknowns?
