Hello everyone! Adding a new Bulova to the database. This looks like an ad match for a 1949 Beverly. Movement is a 1949 (J9). This watch has some weird white residue/gunk on it (you can see on pictures by crown and area around where band is connected to lugs). I have not seen anything like this before on any of my other watches, is this a normal thing that can sometimes happen, has anyone ever seen this before? I am just wondering if it would be mold? I'm sure it will probably clean off pretty easily, I just thought I would go ahead and ask while posting. Looking to see what you all think! Thanks!
