Case is 26mm x 29.5mm without crown and lugs. Really sweet getsn and somewhat big for the time. Two tone white with yellow gold scrolling. Somewhat a combination of stepped sides and the wavey sides like a ranger but not that either. You'll notice the back has a defferent serial number starting with a 5.. as opposed to the inside corrent date serial. I don't think I've seen this one in an ad yet? Could be mistaken for the Sky King by the dabbler but definately not that.

Now there's two different Kirkwood ads from same period - different watches. It's difficult to judge which may be correct, but not impossible to make an informed guess. I doubt they both are correct. There are patterns which are becoming more apparent though....which may be useful to somehow rate the reliability of these newspaper ads.
Jerin's crystal specs coincide with the Kirkwood in my '37 GS catalog taking their H465 listed as 25.5x19.3. While the Kirkwood is the only model listed for the H465 this doesn't necessarily mean that it is in fact the only one. Less popular model/models could have been dropped from the index.
If I were voting I would go tentative Kirkwood until a clearer ad is found.
That second Kirkwood ad- the 21 jeweler- could take the same crystal too. I think it's a matter of years these were two diff models were produced...not the years they were marketed by these distributors/vendors ads. The "end dates" don't work near as well as the "earliest possible start date" based on these ads. Overlap, perhaps even based on stock in hand...
Gang Lisa sent us the full ad for slightly grany graphic "matching" subject watch. The resolution is about the same as the snippet used in this thread. The full ad ran in The Lowell Sun on Friday, 5 October 1934. The ad was taken out by the Scott Jewelry Company, and they have several other Bulova watches pictured and correctly ID'ed in the ad.
I'm on board with a tentative Kirkwood ID!
