I recently inherited this watch from my grandmother, but know very little about it other than it was my great grandmother's. It works very well and everything appears to be original.

It is quite possiblle that the movement has been recased in a non-Bulova case.  There doesn't seem to be any gold stamping or branding from Bulova on the case, which leads me suggest the case is not original to the watch movement.

Can you advise if there are any Bulova markings on the case anywhere?

Beautiful watch. And wonderful heirloom.  We will not be able to identify the model for your watch because it is what we call Non-Conforming.  It has a mixture of parts, a non-Bulova case with a Bulova movement \dial.  This would have most likely have been a watch a jeweler put together and sold.  It doesn’t take away from it being a special piece from your family history.

A beautiful watch, but Non-conforming.

Great watch and a wonderful multi-generational heirloom! I have to agree with the previous comments; as the case is not Bulova produced, we can't give her a name.

Treasure and continue to pass it down to future generations.

Non - conforming.

Agree that it is recased.  It is a testament to Bulova's quality that watch movements can outlive the original cases.   It is not uncommon for someone to wear their Bulova for 20 years then take it to the jeweler when the case plating has worn off and the jeweler would have a selection of replacement cases to recase the watch.   it does not take anything away from the watch, we just note that it is not a Bulova case for archive purposes.   Non-Conforming.

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate the insight and what I've learned. While it may be non-conforming, I love it. It is a family heirloom and incredibly valuable to me, regardless of monetary value. I also think it may be the spark that lights a love of vintage watches I did not have before.
