My thinking behind giving this watch and others like it a temporary model grouping name is so that we can located them quickly in the future when we do finally find an advert showing the name. Otherwise these just get thrown in with the rest of the Unknowns.

I think anything that helps with searching is a good thing.  I think if you know it is from a line or series like these cocktail watches that have a couple of ads showing that.  I am new so just thinking outloud.  Are you thinking Cocktail Unknown or just Cocktail?

For now just a general 'Cocktail' category, similar to how we currently have a generic 'Chronograph' category.

I guess I'm still against it. I feel like we be moving away from a fairly rigorous method of identifying watches by name and moving to identifying some watches by a category. Arguably we do that now with chronographs and clock but this seems different. I still prefer calling an Unknown an Unknown.
