I was gifted this watch some years ago by my now ex. He said he believed it to be early 1930s but, thanks to this website, I now know it to be a 1948 model. I’ve yet to find an advert of the design so can’t say what the name of it is. He bought it from a small shop in New York. That’s pretty much all I can say about it.
If anyone has an ad for this watch I’d love to see it.

Hi everyone. After showing off my watch on here, I’ve decided to put it up for auction. I remember reading that all the shown watches are owned and not for sale, but as I’ve now decided to sell, can someone remind me of the protocol?
I’m not listing on eBay as I think the watch is too nice and it’s too risky to sell there, so it’s going to an auction house where it’ll be properly evaluated before being catalogued.
I would like to remain a member, just in case someone finds an advert for this watch. I would still like to know more about it :)

Hi YorkshireRose,
If you are selling at an auction house you do not need to do anything here and will remain a member. The watch will remain on your account unless it is purchased by a member on myBulova that requests the watch be transferred to them. If this happens you will still be a member for as long as you would like to be : ) Best of luck on the auction!
Kathy

Thank you, Geoff
I did think that was the case so I didn’t post any links to the auction house just in case.
As things stand, it will be listed in the Fine Jewellery sale in June. If anything comes up in terms of more information or even a name for her, I will add it here. Hopefully, the new owner will list here when they take her home
