1950 Elizabeth, Casemark A9, mvmnt. marked L0, 17 jewels unadjusted, BXW, 7AD.
Sold as not working, but it runs and keeps good time. came with generic 1950's ladies' box, could be original.
Bobbee It looks like the Elizabeth "B" to me. Several Elizabeth ads on site, some are close at lugs. The "B" looks like a match. 1947 ad below. Click for full ad.
The 1955 model lists (below) show 8 occurrences, however note model # 6705 occurs twice- it has a name change from what I think is generic Elizabeth to the "A" variant (same watch, new letter?) . I believe the reason ALL variants are not shown is some sections of the lists only indicate watches w/ recent price changes since previous price lists. After study of price trends in several model series in lists, as cross-checked to ads on site, I believe the $100 "A" and "C" either have diamond dial/bezel or are solid gold. Most likely one of these $100 "B"s also exists but is not in the list.
