Perhaps a 1965 Leading Lady "E"
10K Yellow RGP Case
Inside of case stamped 2320 and 55
Case back and movement stamped M5
Apparently non-original Speidel band
Nice ad find. I tend to agree,
1965 Leading Lady. The way the ad is written would seem to indicate that "E" is yellow; but watch was also available in white,. According to the 1965 Line Book, white is variant "F". It appears this may be a first for the Db. Congrats!
Yellow gold - 1965 Leading Lady "E"
Wow, thanks for the information! I got it in a lot of three ladies' Bulova watches, all of them for $15. Two have broken balance wheels and this one ran but it turned out to have a broken screw on the rachet wheel. Also, the set lever screw is currently rusted in place! It does run, I shouldn't have too much trouble restoring the movement since there are plenty of 5AR movements on eBay for cheap. Amazing how expensive these watches were when new but now they are available for the price of a large pizza.
