Purchased this one as a "Ladies watch". Matte black dial with a diamond at 12, gold rectangles at 3 and 6 and "Bulova" at 9. Watch arrived looking like it was very seldom worn (no case marks or crystal scratches). Runs and keeps time. Original suede band "wear" didn't seem to match, as it was nearly smooth and looked poor.
Watch has the distinct odor of hand lotion. I sat on the couch and rubbed the band with the leading edge of my thumbnail. Within a few minutes, all the suede fuzz stood back up. It would appear the previous owner "oiled" themselves with lotion and it literally flattened and polished the leather.I was quite shocked at the results and taught myself something about not automatically replacing a poor looking original suede! Last photo below is of the band as received prior to fussing and posting.
