fully serviced, cleaned and new main spring
With apparently many (two charactor) variants for GC, there could be a different variant for the brown dial/ white whale. Looks like they both use the same case, so it may literally come down to this. I didn't see any other ads showing this case shape (nor other examples in watch database). It's probably not gonna be the "AB" if/when we get more GC ads, but for now, I'd go tentative on the case shape/ watch being better ID'ed w/ the "AB" ad since there's no evidence to the contrary.
I think that's how I'm voting now....what ad best describes/matches/ID's the watch to date (within reason), vote tentative, and update (or change) if/when another ad comes along...
Having said that, DarHin's corrects though... but is it better to have a tentative AB then a generic for now?
Diablo - from the ad above we see the sell price in 1971 was $95. The present value of a 1971 dollar (buying power today) is just under $6, so this watch today would cost around $550. Regarding the value of your watch today, we do not appraise watches on the myBulova web site.
Nikon 'View NX 2' software works nicely for resizing and cropping photos. I think it is available a free download.
