Hi all
I got this little watch in with a couple of straps I bought. I think it may be a First Lady E. The case is 10k rolled gold plate and has the serial number M37160. The movement is a 21 jewel 5AR. Its running great and is in reasonable condition for its age.
This 1964 ad shows an elliptical dialed "E". Close, but not the tear dropped dial like subject watch.
Is the case color yellow or white gold? I'd say we have a 21-jewel Leading Lady model with either variant "G" for Yellow or "H" for white, as identified in this post for a 1963

Wow there a lots of Leading Lady variants in the Spring 1964 price lists (cumulative models section below).
I'm seeing multiple models denoted as variants A, B, C, D, E, etc... Some with marked price differences, some with smaller price differences. The "I" vartiants, for exmaple, have prices of $115.00 and $59.99, respectively. While the "G" variants are $75.00 and $49.95, respectively. This leads me to believe the two "I" variants AND the two "G" variants have differences which include unknown attributes which are more than just gold case color.
Now I compare the price of the cheaper "G" variant (53206) with that of the cheaper "H" variant (53207). Both are listed as $49.95 price. The same price but different variant letter could be the Yellow vs Gold distinction? ...and perhaps its just coincidence that the last digit of one model number is one unit higher than the other....
Well heck... I didn't have to do any of the above for the "G" vs "H" variant based on gold color. Ken and others had linked an ad from 1962 showing the "H" as white...
So I'm good with a 1966 Leading Lady "G" variant ID for subject watch. ....but at least I noticed that one unit increase in internal Bulova model numbers between another "pair" of watches for which the only attribute difference is gold case color....
