I saw one of these on an unknown watch earlier today but for some reason I can't find it again. Late Uncle Walt's watch if I remember the poster.
Anyway.... it seems as though the case is very similar to my 1940 Surgeon. I don't have it yet so I can't tell you it's the same yet.
It looks like one of those Ambassador's markings but this one is square.
Anyone have any idea's?
****UPDATE****
Below are the pictures of the watch I recieved. It IS INDEED a 21 Jewel, 10 AX Movement... unlike the others I found and posted below. Still don't know what it is...
Here's a link to the other one like it on this site:
Found another on Ebay here... movement is stamped
* (1941), 10AX, 17 jewel
Heck I haven't recieved mine in the mail yet. Maybe the seller misread and mines a 17 Jewel as well? We'll see I guess.
And yet another on ebay from 1941... also a 17 jewel, 10AX

That ones in pretty danged good shape.
I'm pretty much convinced that when I open my watch when I get home it's going to be a 17 jewel
In reply to I'll guarantee Its 17. :-) by mybulova_admin
Plains,
The 10AX came in 15J and 21J configurations.
