Watch Description

I inherited this watch from my grandmother. However, she had passed long before I discovered the watch. I believe it was possible from the 1930's or 1940's but I most definitely could be wrong. From looking on this website at other watches I believe it may be a Ladies Miss America but again I could be wrong. I can see from the inside it is 7 jewels and I believe the inside movement symbol is O. The movement model 4AF.

There are several inscriptions on the inside of the watch case which I can not make out clearly. I als One inscription may be an ACT number. However, there are several inscriptions on the inside of the case. If I am reading it clearly the case serial number is 148762 Bulova. The case symbol may be a shield.

I am having a hard time recognizing this band in comparison to other similar watches. The clasp says Kreisler U.S.A.

I want to say thank you in advance for any information and corrections given.

Please excuse the typo in my description. I intended to mention also that there is visible wear to the face of the watch on the front cover making it hard to see in one area however the numbers are still printed fine.
