This is a rare as hens teeth model is excellent condition. This is a 1967 or 1969 Minute Man "P". It is a 10KT RGP yellow gold case and case back with an M7 date code. The movement is a 6CL with an M9 date code. I am certain this is the original movement so I am not sure of the date of this watch. The crystal is oval with faceted edges covering a starburst dial with non-numeric hour markers.
Wow, that's an interesting one I personally have never seen. I'm with you on dating it. Case is obviously an unusual one and was produced in 1967. If it was a common model, my inclination would be to date it by the movement. Based on scarcity, I would date it by the case, noting movement date discrepancy. What line book did you find this beauty in?
1967 Minuteman "P"

I don't think the gilt movements were used in 1967, so that could be a replacement; or perhaps the earlier case was old stock brought into production a couple years later.
Case 2767 calls for the 6CL/6CT per the case book, so that is the correct movement model.
Good match to the Minuteman 'P'
